The Cat

I respect my needs and boundaries at all times.
I like being petted and played with, I’m fully aware of my right over my own body and will find ways to preserve myself from others when I need my space, even if it means hiding in the most unexpected places or offering a gentle scratch or a bite as a warning that I want to be left alone.
While I like co-living with humans, I do not feel the need to please them to be loved. It is my birthright to be loved and I won’t compromise myself with those not willing to love me.
Like me, it is your birthright to be loved, therefore you want to find the people that love you for who you are rather than trying to please people that won’t love you unconditionally.
I allow myself to be playful.
You may see me every once in a while getting crazy with a ribbon, a ball, or even jumping on things you can’t even see. This is pure and fun and makes life more exciting.
Allowing myself these playful moments is a great way to regain energy and motivation and enjoy a life where I don’t get caught up worrying about other people’s judgment. As a result, you also have fun looking at me; therefore, at some point, the joy I experience becomes contagious.
So embrace your playfulness and quirks without shame, as it can inspire others to enjoy their lives even more too.
I take the time to recharge.
In ancient times, I was the priest and priestess’ companion, then the sorceress and wizard’s sidekick, and today, you find me at the side of many healers.
That is because, being a healer myself, I love hanging out with my peers. But my healing is often not visible as I mainly work with energies, be it balancing your home’s energies or yours.
It requires a lot of vitality for my small body, which explains why you will see me sleeping part of the day.
Whether you are a conscious healer or not, you are moving a lot of energy and need to find time to recharge if you want to keep going.
