Chances are that if you saw me attached to you, you would immediately try to get rid of me before I could suck your blood. And yet, when it comes to protecting your energy, you are likely much more tolerant of those that knowingly or unknowingly drain you.
It is time for you to acknowledge—without judgment—why and how you allow others to feed on you and your energy.
Have compassion for yourself for the needs this inquiry reveals to you and give yourself permission to find other ways to be loved, recognized, respected or seen.

When I feed on your blood, I secrete peptides and proteins known to support your healing process by preventing blood clots.
While I take, I give as well and create an exchange. You feed me; I heal you.

I don’t chase my food. I know that it will come to me and that all I have to do is allow myself to feed on it. When I am done, I let go knowing that another meal will come to me when I need it. If there is a relationship or situation in your life that no longer serves you, allow yourself to let it go.
There is no need to hang on to people or circumstances simply because you are afraid of what you might miss.
You do not have to stick with people with who you don’t resonate anymore. You do not need to stick with a job that does not bring you joy. You do not need to stay in a place that doesn’t feel like home anymore.
Don’t fear the change; you will make new friends, find new clients, meet new romantic partners, and connect with new people with whom you will be excited to co-create.
