The Hedgehog

I drop my armor to connect with love.

In general, I am distrustful of others. So instead of getting to know them, I greet them with all my thorns out because I am scared that they will hurt me. It is my armor, and you probably have yours too.

While it might be beneficial at times, you want to be mindful of not wearing your armor constantly as you may miss some beautiful opportunities to meet loving and caring people.

When I allow myself to trust some humans, I often experience a better quality of life through their care and even sometimes live quite a bit longer, so imagine what love could bring if you let it in.

I respect my own rhythm.

I am a creature of the night. My favorite time to wander and to be active starts in the evening and finishes early in the morning.

Maybe like me you feel most creative or get your best thinking done at night, or maybe you are an early bird and thrive when you get the day started while others are still sleeping.

Each and every being has its own rhythm and it is important that you respect yours if you want to benefit from your best energy and creativity impulses.

I look below the surface.

One may get sad at seeing the trees getting naked and their leaves piling up on the ground. At first sight, it is a lot of mess, but that brown carpet allows life to prepare itself to survive the winter.

I have learned that I find treasures to feed on and build a safe and warm nest below the foliage and the brown leaves.

If you take the time to look below the appearance of your issue, you may discover that what looks messy at first can turn out to be a fantastic opportunity.
