The Sparrow

I claim my right to be self-sovereign.

I have been present on Earth for millennia and continue to survive due to my high reproduction rate. As such, I symbolize the power of masses gathering their strength to hold ground when facing domination.

I invite you to check-in and to ask yourself if you have surrendered your power to any external pressures be it a person, a social pressure, or a limiting belief. If so, remember that no one has the right to control you or to dictate how you should live your life.

I am here to remind you to value yourself, to restore your dignity, and to tap into your courage so that you can stand up to whoever or whatever is currently oppressing you.

I am open to opportunities.

I realized quite quickly that by living close to humans, I could seize various opportunities for the survival and safety of my clan. I repurpose left-overs, feed on gardens, and—with a bit of creativity—am able to repurpose some of their discarded things for building my nest. I sometimes even enjoy houses they build for me.

I’ve learned to co-create with my surroundings and my community, and I’m here to support your creative process and to encourage you to take advantage of the unexpected opportunities that might present themselves to you that could also help you to reach your goals.

Do you really need a fancy gadget or complicated solution to get the results you want, or can you achieve your desired outcomes in a simpler way?

I sing my tune.

I might be small, but you can hear me from miles away. I’m here to remind you that even if you feel small or you can’t see the impact you have on others, your voice matters and it inspires others.

I sing from my heart and use my voice to spread my vibration, and I want to support you by giving you the courage to express yourself authentically too.

I am grateful for my tribe.

While I may at times fight with others for breadcrumbs, my brothers and sisters know that I’ll always be there for them if they need defending or even if they just need my support. And, I know that should I ever need them, they will be present for me too.

Whether you are experiencing tension with members of your family of origin or your chosen family, you may want to press pause on futile grudges and remember how much those people count in your life even if you disagree at times.

It is maybe time to reconnect to why you loved them so much in the first place.
