The Butterfly

I am willing to question what I know.

First, I come to the world in an egg. Second, I become a caterpillar; then, I finally withdraw into my cocoon to grow my wings to become a butterfly.

Each phase of my life gives me a different perspective and understanding of the world. While I value the lessons and experiences of each part of my journey, I know that each time I transform, I must release the perspectives and beliefs that no longer serve me in order to thrive in my new form.

My presence beside you might be an invitation to release the beliefs that are slowing your metamorphosis and to embrace the hope and joy that your inner voice is whispering.

I am compassionate with my transformational process.

During the big transformations of my life, I take time to reconnect with myself and my energy.

Morphing from larva to caterpillar to butterfly takes a ton of energy, and it’s important that I find time to integrate my transformation. The same is true for you when you are awakening to a new reality or taking a massive leap of change in your life.

So, make space, be gentle with yourself in times of transition, and take the time to really integrate and embody your transformation.

I surrender to the transformation process.

Even though the process of becoming a butterfly is uncomfortable for me, I know that I have no other choice than to surrender to the metamorphosis if I want to be able to spread my wings and fly one day.

Resistance to change would only result in me never fulfilling my true potential. Likewise, if you want to live into your fullest potential, you too must be willing to surrender to the discomfort of uncertainty.

So while you may not have the luxury of withdrawing into a cocoon until your metamorphosis is complete, it is important that you create the environment you need to support your process.
